Notice period
The notice to give before a term date: at least three months for a dwelling. A rent increase must reach the tenant ten days before that period starts.
The lease may set a longer period, never a shorter one than the legal minimum. The same period guides the landlord for an increase: the notification must precede by ten days the start of the period running to the chosen term date.
