Rent deposit
The security a landlord may require: at most three months' net rent for a dwelling, placed in a blocked account in the tenant's name — never the landlord's.
The bank releases the deposit only with both parties' consent, a court decision, or one year after the lease ends with no claim by the landlord. A deposit insurance may replace it where the lease allows.
