Landlo

Swiss tenancy glossary

Term date

The date on which the lease can end — often one or more months of the year fixed in the lease, otherwise local custom. A rent increase takes effect only on a term date.

Landlo computes deadlines from the lease's term dates: if they are not recorded it cannot date a notification, and says so. Local custom varies by canton and is not encoded.
